About LADY INCARNATE
Lady Incarnate is a transgender punk poet, MC, Producer and DJ from Glasgow, Scotland.
She is known for her role as front woman with Scottish underground mainstays The Positive Experience and her electrifying microphone work on the Scottish Dub and Bass Music scenes alongside the likes of HEATNAVI, Mighty Oak, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Crucial Roots, Decades of Dub & Vixen Sound.
She produces experimental electronic music ranging from Dubstep to House to Hyperpop, overlaid with her signature cutting lyricism. Her core influences in this regard come from SOPHIE, MF DOOM and Larry Levan.
Her live solo material also consists of deep and cutting spoken poetry discussing politics, gender and feminism as well as performances of folk and murder ballads. Her work is a combination of uplifting protest and deeply challenging discussions of the human experience.
